Maybe "kicked the bucket" might be better ... ?
![]() In all seriousness, Toby Hadoke does know these things, so you could ask if RM is still about ... ? (I have never Twittered in my life otherwise I'd be happy to do it. As it is, I have not got to grips with any form of technology and require others to do my dirty work for me). |

From a purely selfish point of view that means he might be available for any extras that would be made if there was ever a special edition DVD of Web Of Fear.

Elisabeth Sladen
I thought it might be worth mentioning that next Tuesday (19 April) it will be five years since we lost Elisabeth Sladen. I'm struggling to believe its five years!
I was such a fan of Sarah Jane and Elisabeth herself. I wondered if it would be appropriate to set up a separate thread for people to post their happy memories of Sarah Jane or of meeting her at conventions etc? |

Anyway, someone else who should get a mention is Nicholas Courtney, as it s fears February just gone, since he died. Where has the time gone? ![]() Cannot believe it's been five years since Nick and Lis passed way.

No direct Doctor Who link, but very sad news today about Victoria Wood. She did give us a very funny Who parody back in the 80s.

Actors on twitter reporting the death of Black Beauty star William Lucas. He was in everything from The Prisoner to Last of the Summer Wine. He appeared in the Doctor Who story Frontios as Range after his friend Peter Arne, who was originally cast, was murdered before filming.

Aw, RIP to a fine actor. 91 a good age. Do remember him in Black Beauty as a kid, and thought he was excellent in Frontios, a much underrated tale IMO, my second favourite of that season. ("Mr RANGE!") He worked very well off Peter D, Janet and Mark. Am a fan of Sixties stuff, and he was v good in Dangerman, The Avengers, etc. The sort of character actor who could be relied upon to give a good performance in any role..
