Could someone twitter Toby hadoke to find out if Richardson Morgan is still knocking about?
I suppose it would just be a question of how to phrase it. I mean you couldn't really say "Oy Toby, do you know if Richardson Morgan has popped his clogs yet?"

Maybe "kicked the bucket" might be better ... ?

In all seriousness, Toby Hadoke does know these things, so you could ask if RM is still about ... ? (I have never Twittered in my life otherwise I'd be happy to do it. As it is, I have not got to grips with any form of technology and require others to do my dirty work for me).

From a purely selfish point of view that means he might be available for any extras that would be made if there was ever a special edition DVD of Web Of Fear.

I wonder if we should include Matt Smith's career:

I thought it might be worth mentioning that next Tuesday (19 April) it will be five years since we lost Elisabeth Sladen. I'm struggling to believe its five years!

I was such a fan of Sarah Jane and Elisabeth herself. I wondered if it would be appropriate to set up a separate thread for people to post their happy memories of Sarah Jane or of meeting her at conventions etc?

There's an interview with her daughter Sadie Miller in the most recent edition of the Doctor Who Magazine.

I was just about mention this on here, but you've beaten me to it.

Anyway, someone else who should get a mention is Nicholas Courtney, as it s fears February just gone, since he died.

Where has the time gone?

Cannot believe it's been five years since Nick and Lis passed way.

No direct Doctor Who link, but very sad news today about Victoria Wood. She did give us a very funny Who parody back in the 80s.

Actors on twitter reporting the death of Black Beauty star William Lucas. He was in everything from The Prisoner to Last of the Summer Wine. He appeared in the Doctor Who story Frontios as Range after his friend Peter Arne, who was originally cast, was murdered before filming.

Aw, RIP to a fine actor. 91 a good age. Do remember him in Black Beauty as a kid, and thought he was excellent in Frontios, a much underrated tale IMO, my second favourite of that season. ("Mr RANGE!") He worked very well off Peter D, Janet and Mark. Am a fan of Sixties stuff, and he was v good in Dangerman, The Avengers, etc. The sort of character actor who could be relied upon to give a good performance in any role..

Which was produced by the late Verity Lambert.

Just thought I'd throw in some useless knowledge, there.

Derek Martin of Eastenders and a former member of HAVOC appeared in El Dorado as did Gareth Armstrong (Guliano in Masque of Mandragora and the voice of Sandy in Monkey)

If we are looking at Eldorado / DW crossovers, don't forget Fiona Walker (Keys Marinus / Silver Nemesis), as a grande dame ex-pat who was stuck living in the past glory days. Also, several scripts written by Bill Lyons (in his former acting career, he appeared in Enemy of the World) and Gilly Fraser (in her former acting career, she appeared in The Faceless Ones). I suspect there were director crossovers, too, and Julia Smith (co-creator of the show) was a 60s DW director. When the series famously began to fall apart (not long after it took to air), new producer Corinne Hollingworth took over and completely revamped it. She was AFM on some 80s DW.

I love Eldorado.
