I would have been more accepting of 'The War Doctor' if he had called himself 'The Warrior' and been listed as such in canon and there had been a throwaway line in DOTD to the many terrible deeds committed by him off-screen during the war.

As it stands I would have preferred Mcgann or Eccleston as story and canon would have made a lot more sense to me. But hey it's over and done with now
