Been watching on the Red Button.

For a rock band like Kings of Leon to open up Day 2 of the Big Weekend on a wet, rainy day in Glasgow with the audience only 50% full they were fantastic! Really enjoyed their set. Full of KOL classics as well as some of their newer stuff and older material they played a blinder. Totally loved their set. Hats off for getting Chris Martin from Coldplay to come on as well, that was great.

I liked Chvrches, they were good but not great. I saw them live last year at the ABC in Glasgow and they were brilliant. They were playing the INMWT stage at the same time KOL were on and it was funny when inbetween songs as they were getting ready to start the next song you could hear KOL in the background. Lol.

Gorgon City - new band. Absolutely fantastic. Love their sound.

Going to give The Vamps and The Klaxons a miss and waiting for Sam Smith.

I thought she sounded terrible. Her backing singers are good though

The Klaxons are just finishing their set on Red Button, Sam Smith is on next but i'll be moving to BBC3 at 7pm to watch their highlights for the rest of the night.

Aye, not their best live performance. Usually they're a really tight live band, Laurens voice seemed a wee bit off and a couple of tech problems near the end.

I was looking at a map of the arena and did think the Main stage and INMWT stage were positioned quite close to each other so no surprise that sound from KOL was drifting over.

I was right behind the INMWT tent and I could hear the main stage clearly, so as you say, no surprise.

I'm not a Katy Perry fan but as I enjoyed Coldplays headline set last night so much I thought I'd give Katy a watch tonight - are they broadcasting it live on TV again? From the TV Guide it looks like they won't be?

If you think Rita's singing was terrible then you need your ears tested. I'm not a huge fan of Rita myself, but the girl can clearly sing and sing in tune. She wasn't terrible.

Looks like she wasn't the only one who had tech problems today. I watched highlights of London Grammar on BBC3 and the lead singer couldn't stop fiddling with her in-ear mics. You see a lot of this when you see artists/bands perform live. You would expect everything to be ready and set up beforehand before they go on stage and play live.

It really takes you out of the performance on occasions when you see this happen because it makes them annoyed that it's happening and they end up looking grumpy because of it which doesn't come across well on television.

Rita Ora was playing with her in-ear mic a lot of the time as well.

Been watching BBC3's coverage and just have to mention their highlights of their featured artists isn't really highlights when they only show 4 songs! It's just not good enough.

From 7-8pm, there were 4 songs from Rita and i think 4 from London Grammar. The rest was chat, an interview and showing other artists playing live. The exact same happened for 8-9pm when there were 5 songs from KOL but only 3 from Tinie Tempah. It makes a mockery of their scheduling!

If you have a 1hr timeslot then imo you should be able to give half and half to whoever your main featured artist is of that hour and show a decent amount of their set, not just a few songs. It really does grate because this seems to happen all the time.

It's ridiculous BBC3 won't show this live just so they can show In The Flesh instead at 10pm. You think they could have shown the programme after Katy Perry! This is the headliner of the night, get your act together BBC3!!!

Is it just me (& it very often is) but does this acoustic version with Katy Perry sound like it's about to go into 'whistle for the choir' by the Fratellis? Just the non vocal bits.

I usually like her live, I just don't think she was that good today.
