I don't own any of Katy Perry's music and have never seen her live, but I thought she was brilliant last night! I knew virtually every song, the visuals were great and the time flew by. That was a masterclass on how to be a pop star!

Coldplay put on a great show as well, the classics sounded amazing as always but the new stuff isn't really doing it for me so much. Also, Chris Martin's apparent love of One Direction is getting on my nerves!

Best performance I saw of the weekend was probably Paolo Nutini though - absolute class act and the different arrangement of Jenny Don't Be Hasty was awesome!

What's been everyone's highlights?
Getting paid

Na, I only really seen yesterdays as I was working on Saturday but could hear it, and yesterdays was much more enjoyable.

Pity she cant sing.
She's ok when singing slow, but when she starts dancing around it's just breathless gasps every now and then with the backing singers/track carrying on.

She's a showgirl and puts on a brilliant show which I think is what makes up for it.

Haha. What were you doing? I worked the Carlisle one in 2011, if I'd had the time I might have tried to work this one as well.

Searching people as they came in, had a few trying to sneak in booze.

Just got round to watching all of this. Can't believe people are praising Katy Perry. I thought she sounded terrible...costumes, sets and lights but she doesn't have the good voice to go with it. I thought she was awful. In fact, I thought the entire Big Weekend was disappointment. Only two acts that I thought smashed it were Coldplay and Sam Smith.

Madonna was always pretty ropey as a singer too, but also knew how to put on a show.
