Ild probably lean towards Lacey to be honest but I think there both great.
No doubt people who haven't watched hollyoaks will slag off Stephanie though! |

Lacey Turner.
That could change if they have Stacey fly off into Banshee mode like she was during her last year on the show. |

Stephanie is doing great with this storyline, but Lacey is better. |

I think Stephanie is the better actress and this storyline has proved it. Lacey has been lucky in having lots of good storylines. Let's hope Hollyoaks continue giving Stephanie great storylines and I'm sure she will give Lacey a run for her money , given half the chance.

I think the big problem with Stephanie is she has less range. The whining voice comes out for everything. There's no light and shade with her, it's all samey.
She's a good crier I'll give her that. |

They are both excellent at what they do, and while I prefer Sinead to Stacey, I'd have to go with Lacey, because I have only seen Steph in HO while I've watched Lacey in other things and enjoyed her performances then too. I think that with time, Steph will develop even more and hopefully go on to bigger and brighter things. She can certainly achieve what Lacey has.

Lacey Turner is probably a more well-rounded actor, so I'd go with her. But Stephanie Davis did really move me with her reaction to Baby Katie's death.

Plenty Liverpudlians go onto big things. Just not via Hollyoaks very often.
But, what are Liverpoolings? |

Lol I can't think of Any exLiverpudlian soap stars that have went on to bigger and better things.
But Emma Rigby and Barry Sloane are doing well in the US, even though the former is from St Helens both are from Hollyoaks. Claire Sweeney from Brookside has a West End career, or at least did as does Carley Stenson. In terms of Liverpudlians themselves, The Beatles being a prime example. Tom Baker, Kim Cattrall. The list goes on. |

Do you mean Scousers? Yes, I agree. Not many Scousers go on to do big things in the acting world. But there's no reason why Steph can't break the mould. I'm sure she can work on her London/American accents if she ever gets work on a serious drama in the US or UK.
![]() Google brings many delights. ![]() And the international superstar that is Les Dennis. |

Rex Harrison? Tom Baker? Kim Cattrall?
. Obviously heard of Tom Baker, but did not know he was a Scouse . Kim Cattrall - isn't she more Canadian than Scouse? I think she was born in Liverpool but moved to Canada when she was a three-month year old baby. I don't think she would've achieved that succes in the US if she stayed in Liverpool to be fair . She benefitted from not having a Scouse accent.
