Ah ok, thank you lulu I couldn't remember where she came but thought she did quite well. I remember being shocked she left as she was really good (I thought) she cried a lot when she left, she obviously knows how to do this lol!

Stephanie for me. Stacey id always the same and going on 'crying, upset scenes' stephs are more believable and more real. I hope she wins at the bsa's.

Like a few others, I think Stephanie is a good actress but her character is awful which clouds the judgement somewhat.

However- if you hate the character so much you don't really know surely that means shes a great actress

I did say she was a good actress, debatable if she's great. I've only seen her in this one role, other than when she was on Over the Rainbow. Sinead is not likeable so I don't always pay attention to her scenes but Stephanie is good at portraying the hateful bullying aspect of Sinead. At the moment I do find Diane and Finn pretty loathsome too, to accuse Sinead of killing Katy but sometimes Sinead/Stephanie's reaction to things is just to shout really angrily which may certainly be an acting choice but doesn't always convey emotion. She hasn't engendered much sympathy in me (logistically yes but not emotionally) but I think that's down to the show trying to redeem her too quickly after the bullying storyline. Stephanie can only work with the stories she's given so it's somewhat of production/writing issue.

It's not that Scousers don't go on to do very well, it's their accents don't. It's the same for most UK accents, which is why they are barely head, especially in America. Most actors train themselves to lose their accent or significantly dilute it.

Lacey Turner and Stephanie Davis are great actresses, they play their characters very well and any show be lucky to have them.
