Here's hoping for a better day than yesterday. One 2nd place and nothing else. Hmm....

Today's tips:

1.30 - Wilde Blue Yonder
2.05 - Hinterland
2.50 - At Fishers Cross
3.25 - Unioniste
4.15 - The Package
5.10 - Katgary
5.45 - Puisque Tu Pars

Anyone else think that the 3.25 looks a particularly weak race for a handicap at one of the British jumps festivals?

A competitive class 1 listed handicap chase just before the main event is just right I think.

Well done to Hibs-kid-2007 who holds on to win from Swingaleg who just nabbed 2nd place from Xavier who finished 3rd. The difference maker today was our winner having the 2nd in the Grand National.

Quick Mention to Mrs Dart who recovered from a dreadful start to finish 5th and also to Wildaces91 who finished 4th on his competition debut.

Thank you all for playing.

Well done Hibs !

I didn't realise I was so close..........due to me being a bit old and decrepit I'd forgotten which horses I'd posted and wasn't online during most of the afternoon......

Thanks king !............

Well done to Hibs Kid and many thanks for running the show kingofcakes.

Nice to see another smaller stable and a long standing pro jockey get a bite at the big time once again ... that is what the national is all about now as I don't think it is much of a test in all honesty.

Thanks guys, think it's first time I've won a comp on this, had few seconds before.

Thanks to kingofcakes for a well run comp.

Agree with an above comment about the race not being as much of a test as it once was but still takes a lot between man and beast to prevail. Few shock winners over last 5 years. Don't like the chat of reducing the field of 40 though.
