No, that went to Quest +1.

Assuming a516's multiplex guide is reasonably accurate, it must be timesharing with Adult Party with hours 07:00 - 00:00.

The mux guide is being updated tonight.

It's the BBC RB2 slot, which consisted of the Adult Party downtime and Dave downtime to create a 03:00-00:00 slot. Add that to the three hours created by closing bid at 00:00 and starting Community at 03:00 and you have a 24 hr slot.

I may have to create a slightly different "visualisation" of how the capacity on COM5 is split up.

Quest +1 appeared while BBC RB 302 was live. So yes, it is using the capacity recently used by BBC RB 302.

Adult Party officially shares capacity with Dave between 0300 and 0700. The 0000 to 0300 capacity was initially on the 12th allocated stream, with the 0300 to 0000 segment being spare capacity (recently used by the BBC).

Bid's new hours on COM5 are 0800-0000, releasing the 0000-0200 capacity previously used by Price-drop. Community Channel's hours have been reduced from 0200-0800 to 0300-0800, releasing the 0200-0300 segment.

Thus creating spare capacity 0000-0200 (ex Price-drop), 0200-0300 (ex Community Channel) and 0300-0000 (ex BBC RB). A new 24 hour slot created and allocated to Movies4Men.

So Movies4Men will be a 24/7 channel on freeview?

Yes, capacity is dynamically allocated on the COM multiplexes. The concept of channels sharing a single stream is flawed.

My definition of timesharing just got a lot more complicated... I was obviously thinking too linearly.

So ARQA/COM5 stands at: (a516 will have a much more detailed table later )
1) Dave/Adult Party (03:00-07:00)
2) Sky News
3) Pick
4) Challenge
5) E4+1
6) Food Network
7) Movie Mix
8) Gems TV
9) Smile TV 3/Create & Craft/Travel Channel
10) Really/ Blue/ Babestation 2
11) Adult Party(00:00 - 03:00)/Community/Bid
12) movies4men
13) Quest+1

Also Talksport, Insight Radio, Proud Dating and Kiss Me TV as data and/or audio streams only.

So let's turn to ARQ B for space (haha)... And here's me thinking originally that there are now 14 streams on a DVB-T, MPEG-2 transport stream.

The source I normally use lists Babestation2 as sharing with Smile TV 3/Create & Craft/Travel Channel, in the capacity between the close of Smile 3 and the start of Create & Craft. It lists 5am to 8am as spare capacity between the close of Blue and the start of Really.

Technically, that is probably more correct as Blue and Babestation 2 is basically the same sex-chat service teleshopping loop with an interruption to switch LCN. If they were both traditionally sharing capacity with Really, it could have been a single LCN with an uninterrupted 2 hour stream.

Don't forget Motors TV.

With null packets at 1.27 Mbps, there's less headroom available than the lowest bitrate video stream on the multiplex (currently 1.4 Mbps). Not really enough room for a 14th stream, but pretty close. I wouldn't be surprised if they did try to squeeze more onto the multiplex at some point.

Looks like the channel could be another 24 hour channel if you look at the EPG.
Freeview is starting to get a little better. All we need now is CBS Drama and CBS Action.
