What's up with her? Is she so publicity-hungry that she feels the need to bring in a two-and-a-half-week old baby into a TV studio? Ridiculous. Anybody think we'd never seen a baby before.

That's slightly unfair. As she works on the programme no doubt many viewers would have been interested to see her and the new baby. Nothing to do with being 'publicity hungry' at all.

Her boyfriend must be into fat people or has a fat fetish.

I cannot imagine anyone on top of her.

Still, she knows her way in front of the camera and fellow new moms such as Myfanwy would welcome her baby diaries and baby chatter with Lorraine and the GMTV crowd. It fits the show's demographic core audience like a charm. Look for more pampers adverts, etc as a show bonus.

I remember the massive boost of credibility Lorraine Kelly got on becoming a mother. Her whole show and persona changed and she boosted the career and frequency of appearances of TV Doc Hilary with his advice slots on baby this and that.

Alison has now got a new career boost and direction as the current and fresh TV mom and like it or not, she will be working with the baby to bore us silly.

For one, she cannot be sacked.
Secondly, she has improved a lot as a presenter.
Thirdly, something new to discuss - a favourite weekday staple - baby news, baby problems and possible solutions.

One thing that a whole lot of new mothers would want to know, as with Cherie Blair and Leo - Single jab or Combined?

Oi! Please don't lump me in that At that time of the morning Lexi and I are still tucked up in bed thankyou very much, sleep is far more interesting than Alison (thank goodness for a baby that sleeps as much as me ). Her baby must have been born around the same time as Lexi though..... bet it's not half as cute as she is

Still, after all that Celebrity Fit Club stint, you begin to think Alison did the show for mere publicity. I believe she lost some weight after the show but I never saw enough of it off her massive frame to notice any significant loss.

With a new (working) baby and moolah to be earned, would Alison ever be slimmer without liposuction, as the Goody Pig is reported to have had?

Is there any chance of Alison regaining her figure (which I bet she could never remember having in the first instance) by doing a Liz Hurley One-meal-a-Day diet? I say no chance of that - the Birmingham Chinese takeaways would go bankrupt in an instant.

But if she manages to lose weight, expect to hear about it on GMTV, expect to pay to read it in or Table Jumping Jacks DVD by Alison to discover how you could do the same. For Alison, as well as for other celebrities, it is a win-win-win all the way to the moolah house - bank to you and I.

It's easier to imagine than someone under her.

He's very small so he has probably learned to wriggle out of tricky situations.

Only when she decides to punish him and show who is the boss.

Where the Goody Pig might aim a right hook at Jeff's direction to accomplish this, Alison would simply say "That's it. Tonight, I am on top! Next time, you will do as I command!" There should be no doubt who wears the pants in this relationship.
