Are the writers trying to imply that Max is visualising Stacey whilst he's with Lucy, trying to recreate what he wanted after he kissed her a few weeks ago? Or is Max just really lazy and incapable of getting a different hotel/room..?

Is that same room reserved for Max and his liaisons?

Lucy had clearly been putting off her 'appointment' at the hotel room, and looked very uneasy - even necking a glass of champagne for Dutch courage..

I don't think she is there by choice - this is the payback Max expects in exchange for the £1000.

I'm sorry, but I can't see anything attractive or admirable in Max Branning at all - he is the lowest of the low, and his taste for teenage girls is rather disturbing.

Agreed, especially when he has teenage daughters the same age as the girls he is bedding.

Neither Lucy nor Lauren are teenagers now though

I said this over in another thread. It just shows how low Max is. Just last week he was pining for Stacey! I really hope this storyline leads to Max admitting he has a sex/loneliness problem.

Well, as long as Max isn't sleeping with teenagers, just girls half his age and the same age as one of his daughters, that's absolutely fine and not at all creepy. Especially if he pays them £1000. That makes it even more morally and socially acceptable.

She was probably more guilty after what Lauren had said to her previously. Don't forget, when she was on the phone previously she said she couldn't wait to see Max again and agreed that it should be kept a secret, it's not about money at all. Even in tonight's episode Lucy was saying how great Max was.

If she genuinely likes him(!) and isn't just after his money, why was she so rudely critical of his "crumpled suit" and poor appearance last week, then after he gives her £1000, she's now suddenly sleeping with him..?

We know already that Lucy likes to prey on vulnerable men, after what she did to Ian following his breakdown.

Not about the money, probably was at first but it was the 'Laurens dad' thing that made her feel actually guilty.

Pretty gross IMO, that Max had done them both, Stacey AND Lucy, in the same room.

It's more like Eastenders already had the set of the hotel room and decided to use it instead of creating another one.

Of course - am sure that's what they did in their plans in devising and building the set.

Just pretty yawn some that it looks identical to the room used with Stace, as well.
