Prophetic words from Lauren?

Where will she be?

Prison?
Dead?
Still on the square?
On the run?

She said where "we'll" be, meaning her and Lucy and their new venture.

Foreshadowing Lucy's approaching death.

Next time Lucy will wear the same clothes as Lauren in a fashion faux pas, then chuckle, "Couldn't you just DIE?"

The whole 'Whitney will probably be engaged to a man on death row in a civil partnership' line made me laugh.

[Albeit it's now marriage, TPTB]

Most likely dying from severe hepatitis in hospital after once again turning to alcohol in the aftermath of Lucy's death .

Not dead, I doubt they'd ever kill Lauren off considering how many storylines she gets. Plus they wouldn't do it so close to Lucy's exit/30th anniversary reveal.

THAT was TPTB's chance to put in about the gay marriage law change.

Never happened, though.

It was meant to be a joke . Although, I won't lie, I would like it if they went in that direction . Certainly I can see her drinking again after Lucy's death, especially if it turns out she caused it.

Ah, I meant my post to the OP who had death as a possibility for Lauren

Although it would be good to see something more happen with her alcoholism instead of her being so ill yet back to perfect health again. Maybe an infection or something?

Oh, I see. My bad . I forgot the OP suggested that .

I actually prefer her in perfect health lol. I hated the never-ending alcoholic storyline and was glad when it finally ended . But it might be a good time to revisit the storyline after Lucy dies as she will surely struggle with her death. Remember the doctors said she can't drink anymore because she damaged her liver, so if she starts drinking again that could have some serious consequences on her health.

Me to knowing what is to come. At a young age you never expect to lose one of your friends that you have grown up with.

me too actually Lucy looking up to sky with optimism and hope in her eyes. Very sad indeed. I don't even like the character but I really disagree with them killing her off.

Yeah, I think she'll definitely have a wobble after Lucy's death once she finds out about the secret with Max and who knows what role Lauren will have in the death, which will probably turn her to drink after her family's fallen apart yet again. It would be interesting if she'd need a liver transplant somewhere down the line, not quite yet though. It would have an impact on Lauren and her family and raise awareness as a storyline about organ donation.

Yes I just took it as prophetic that Lucy will never reach 21.

I got a little emotional at that scene.

I know Lauren and Lucy have fallen out a lot but I think Lauren will be absolutely devastated when Lucy dies.

Same as, really - felt quite sad watching that scene with Lauren and Lucy on the steps.

As knowing that it'll be curtains for Lucy, soon. In the most tragic way possible, no doubt.
