Not too sure on the lead single but like the change in sound.

no album he brings out will ever top Collaborations No 5. Its Ed colliding with some of the UK's best urban artists.

Little lady is his best song, I heard it long before his "first single" the A Team.

For all Ed Sheeran fans, get this album.

1st album is + (plus)
2nd album is x (multiply)

Anyone wanna guess what his third and fourth albums will be called?

I think it's so daft how he's saying "x" should be read as "multiply". Everyone will just be referring to it as "ex" or "cross".

Absolutely love Sing and Don't but genuinely don't know whether to get this album or not because of the absolute disappointment + was compared to its singles. Easily one of my most hyped albums of its 2012 and turned out to be full of dreary, nondescript ballads. Might wait til a few reviews are out to see.

He currently has 7 songs in the top 10 on itunes. Surely that is on the verge of breaking some record or something?

Second album is incredible
+ was good but i felt something was missing.

x is a brilliant follow up. Much more personal. Less cliche and metaphoric lyrics.

Many artists release EP prior to their first proper debut, but it doesn't make it their proper debut album.

Actually No 5 was not the 1st thing he brought out. He released seven EP's prior to that.

I completely agree with you - this album is a great follow up to the debut. He definitely didn't change his sound drastically like some feared he would - the only biggest change is Sing. He stayed true to himself in songs like Photograph, One or Thinking Out Loud, with great lyrics, simple melody and honest storytelling, it is just that some songs do have catchier hooks and bigger melody.

Affire Love is such a beautiful song, especially if you know the back story of it..

I was a little worried about Pharell's influence on the album, but then after listening to the likes of Photograph and Thinking Out Loud, my faith is restored.

Photograph is so close to my heart right now, having frequent business trips away from my loved one.

Absolutely brilliant album - the deluxe version well worth paying extra for. Stand out tracks for me - Afire Love, Tenerife Sky, Take It Back, The Man, Thinking Out Loud and One. I think it's going to be a huge seller and more importantly, stick around the charts for a long time.
