Nakd Bars

Hi All,

I know life is too short to mess about sometimes and its easier to just buy a bar than make one but I am fed up with paying silly prices for a bar than is so cheap and easy to make so those who have a moment to bake here is my recipe for the choccy one.

I use 20g pitted dates
10 g raw cashews
5g raisins
decent cocoa powder

The above makes a 35g bar so if you are making lots just adjust the amount to how many bars you wish to make.

All I do is put all the ingredients into the processer whizz till the nuts are chopped then put the mixture onto clingfilm and mold into bars and seal and place into the fridge to harden and there you have it bars to have when you want one.

I have also tried replacing the dates with prunes and the cashews with almonds and it is just as scrummy in my opinion.

Thank you so much for posting this little how to. I love the Nakd bars, but agree they're overpriced. Must try this some time

Just to clarify, no baking is required, then? They sound yummy, and as they are gluten free I might give them a whirl, but your post has confused me as you refer to 'anyone who has a moment to bake them' but don't mention baking in your method.

They are not baked, they are cold pressed

Ooops,

As the good person above said there is no baking required at all, you just
whizz the ingredients put it on clingfilm, shape into required size bars, fold it up and put into the fridge to firm, definitely no baking so sorry for the confusion.
