So, I never disliked it, but it did just seem a bit bland. However, as more pics and videos are leaked, Ive found myself increasingly thinking, hey that Capaldi guys pulls it off pretty well. Its weird how opinions can change, I think I even noticed Arsene Wenger rocking a cardie with his suit today, but I may be mistaken.

Did anyone buy anybof the outfit items? Jacket, shoes?

I completely agree. I wasn't that keen on the white shirt he was wearing to start with, however he hasn't seemed to have worn that since and that black shirt he was wearing though made him look so amazing! I haven't bought any of his clothes as I don't think they'd suit me at my age but I bought a pea coat and suede boots (which are slightly similar)

A pea coat and boots won't wear well around here as we are looking at temps around 90 degrees later this week. I am looking at shorts and a t-shirt as more appropriate wear. I am not sure if that is quite what the Doctor would wear but I am sure that Clara would look good in shorts.

But you are quite correct that the outfit does look good on Capaldi. I think we are going to be impressed this fall.

Love the crombie jacket - was actually thinking about getting one just before the new costume was announced... but, they are a bit outside my price range.

I hate shirts buttoned up to the neck (without a tie in place), but other than that I like the costume.

Might invest in the shows one day, who nose ....
