I really don't know but I do feel it needs someone Avuncular to be "protective" of the contestants and be able to give a few snidey comments to the judges .

I've always liked the shows when Tess and Claudia ran it between them. Tess does the autocue, run to time, do what the producers want, front-of-house well; Claudia is great for on "Claud nine".

I'd like that to be the pattern going forward. I don't think we need a new big head^Wname who thinks the show is about them.

I think Paul O'Grady would be really good. He is very funny and quick witted. I would enjoy watching him on the show.

Funny is not a word that could ever be applied to the most dreary and uncharismatic presenter ever seen on TV.

When he did a cameo on Holby City some months ago it was excruciating to watch, totally without talent.
