Is there a flat under the Brannings house?
Are there flats under the row of houses where Max lives?

Yes. Isn't that where Gary and Minty lived?

I'd imagine there were 3 story houses - kitchen, skullery and one bedroom (possibly servants) in basement then the main accommodation on the ground and first floors. One of those houses was converted into 3 flats by Tony Carpenter right at the start. What they are now and who lives there I don't know as there is no obvious entrance for a separate flat and we've never been told about anyone living there.

And Heather. Was that the flat where she nearly died when the boiler broke?

So in the history of the show those houses were never 3 storey?

As far as I can recall we have never seen the basement of No.5. The house next to the Brannings (No.3) however, is divided into three flats. And the basement of No.1 is the doctor's surgery, with two flats above it - where Heather lived for a while before moving into the flat in Turpin road where she was killed.

Heathers flat was by the train station, where the marker inspecter is staying with Jake

Shirley, however, did live in those flats by the train station in about 2007/08. |

There is a basement flat under the Brannings. As far as I can remember this has never been occupied by any of the characters in EastEnders and we have never seen inside. No set for it.

Terry's flat isn't the one Ava and Dexter lived in. Terry's is either next door or on a floor above it.

Yes Terry's 2nd floor flat is above Ava and Dexter's old flat.
I've often wondered about the basement flat beneath the Branning's house. They should make use of it. |

I've often wondered about the basement flat beneath the Branning's house. They should make use of it. It's where Max keeps all of his sex slaves chained up so that he can unleash the ginger missile any time he wants!
