Roxy...
Why can't she be without a man? Roxy seems to think she is invalid without a man...

A penis is like their charger. They stop working without at least a weekly charge.

Gosh I was thinking the same thing last night! Out of all the women that have ever been in eastenders to me she is the biggest slapper going.
A desperate, ageing old tart who would put a date and a man before her daughter and her only sister! She is also in need of a serious, serious makeover. Those bleached jeans are probably stuck to her and so are the hair extensions probably. That horrid hairstyle went out with the arc. She's just got cheap and tacky written all over her. Yuk.

What's wrong with a woman in her mid to late 30s wanting to settle down with someone?

Thats her character, it pretty much always has been. She might like to claim she has developed but she hasnt. When Ronnie leaves (in a box) Roxy will leave too.

Why single Roxy out? The same could be said about Ronnie, Lauren, Lucy, Whitney, Kat, Bianca, etc.

I don't think DTC knows what to do with Roxy.

Roxy is a support character so she doesn't really get any storylines. I mean even the Aleks story is leading towards Aleks/Ronnie story.
I think her strongest position is to be a support character for Ronnie and stop trying to create something from a wafer thin character. |

Would you axe Roxy?
However, DTC wouldn't do it and it would mean more misery for Ronnie and if Rita goes then I'm certain Sam would too. |

The reason why some characters are not axed and Roxy is one of them is that they are connected to a big family so for me both Billy & Roxy are exhausted to a degree (Billy definitely) but they are MITCHELLS! Tamwar is another one as he is a Masood although DTC has underused the Masood's this year. |

Aleks is such a pathetic character anyway, it would be nice to see Roxy actually get some friends and have more storylines herself!

I like Roxanne the way she is.....she's stupid, tacky and only cares about where her next free drink is coming from. She's unapologetically thick and we love her for it

. I would add Stacey to the list too (based on her first stint).I think the writers believe it's interesting and 'dramatic' to portray certain females as being over-reliant on men as it allows them to develop storylines around it. Most of Kat and Whitney's storylines, for example, are based on her dysfunctional relationships with men. The writers wouldn't know what to do with these characters if they had them become emotionally independent women. |

The list is endless on EE - what about Sharon?
So desperate for c*** she marries a man who had a role in the death of the love of her life (her child's father) and who has now shortened her life expectancy by sending some thugs around to kick the shit out of her (yes I know it was a mistake on King Cockroach's part but so what) - oh and lying and cheating on her as well. Suffragettes unite! Or buy a vibrator. |

Where can producers take Roxy? She seems to be going around and around with no direction.
