In Boscombe, it appears that they have unveiled a brand new Police Box in the town centre; it is hoped that this will provide a visible police presence in the area as well as attracting tourists to the area.

Wouldn't it be brilliant if this marked the return of the police box in all towns and cities.

Lovely! I'd be jealous if I didn't have my own full size replica Police Box in my garden!

How long before so clever dick sprays 'Bad Wolf' on the side I wonder. Or a willy.

It's down the road from me! I do feel bad for the police officers who have to sit inside it and be hassled by tourists. They'll never get time to actually do their jobs...

Given the area it's in, I'd say a week tops before the willies start.

What a place to have it though!
Bournemouth is one of the most beautiful places in the UK. But there is a section of it called ''boscombe'' regularly nicknamed ''boscum'' Need I say more?
Though I suppose such a facility was needed as there is usually someone knocking about that area with a needle hanging out their arm.

I know it's a one-off, but I do like the idea of the police box becoming commonplace again, even if it wouldn't really be practical.

Looks brilliant ! - It looks darker than Tardis Blue though. Hopefully special paint to discourage the inevitable graffiti.

Would be great to see them in every city. I didn't realise there are quite a few out there already. http://www.policeboxes.com/pboxhist.htm
