Mrs T's post on FB has reminded me I haven't told you something

Well it's nothing super thrilling but.....we're moving house. Can't wait actually and it'll be nice for my Mum to not be worrying about various things to do with money.

That's true.

I know the road is still long until I am fully recovered, but when I got this flat, it felt like I'd moved a lot further along that road.

Me too Mrs T. I don't approve of war and I don't do religion or the royals but it seems right and fitting to spend a little hour of our lives remembering all those young men that lost theirs.

You'll get there and it's good that it's had a positive impact for you Eug. A change of environment can do wonders.

It really really will. To be honest I think both my Mum & I really need it? It's like in 2008 she spent her entire bonus from work on an expensive holiday. Totally deserved that one....!!!

Sometimes a holibob is something you need, not something you can afford! You have one life, better to enjoy something and treasure the memories than have a little pile of money

I know how you feel Eugene, my life is so different now too, just over 12 months ago I was in turmoil and know it's all change. You will get there

I agree, I hate war myself but let us realise that we are here due to the lives of so many.

I can't watch the history of it all too much as I get upset by it but I'm well aware of it. It's a shame we could not do more of the WW1 museum but we saw a little bit of the bunkers didn't we.

We did, it is right to remember the horrors they suffered, especially as so many were under age and had no real idea of what they were entering into...

Oh deffo Twass. I just can't wait for my Mum to not have to worry about money because it affects me even though she tries not to tell me. Seen her cry too many times over money now. That's why I didn't let myself feel bad for too long about treating myself a couple weeks ago. Will always treasure my memories for as long as I have them <3 Well the good 'uns anyway I agree with everything you said.

Just let us all know the house warming date
When is yours? But yes I shall haha.

Afternoon all.

I would have said hello earlier, but I've been in and out all day.
