I was supposed to be giving blood today, but I'm not feeling up to it.
Rescheduled for a few weeks time, hope that's okay with them. I haven't gone back because my elbows have almost been consistently covered in eczema or dry skin since Feb Been out and on my second load of washing

I've not been able to give blood for years, since they decided all peeps that had transfusions in the early 80s before AIDS screening came in couldn't give it. My son tried to finish me off when he was born and I needed four units putting back in!!! So no more donating for me, I did give it for about ten years before the ruling came in. I think if I had AIDS it might have made an appearance by now

I would have had to go to the outskirts of Gateshead today, however, my new appointment is just over the road from me.

Result! I feel I'd like to give it again, not only for those folks who saved my life, but also for himself who had probably in excess of 60 units over the past few years, quite a few of them during these last weeks....saved him a number of times.

So far no incidents with the cats whilst my neighbours cat is staying with me.
Been some close calls and a bit of hissing and growling but made sure neither is left unattended in the same room. Tabby (That's the guest cat) has found out whwere the kitchen is and I keep having to go in and take him out as he tries to go into the rubbish or gets on the kitchen sides. My Yoshi is far more well behaved and rarely ventures into the kitchen and never on the tops or in the bin. Most close calls have been Tabby's fault. My cat slinks into a corner or onto his favourite chair and avoids Tabby but Tabby likes to go near him on purpose I feel. When Yoshi is on the chair Tabby will walk under it. Tabby is more nonchalant and my cat Yoshi a lot wary. Tabby sometimes looks at Yoshi on purpose too. It's not too bad as they are not actively acttacking each other and usually keep their distance. It's when I feel Tabby is being more intentional and Yoshi gets growly they are put Tabby in the other room and give my cat some personal time. Edit: When I eventually get another cat to share my home permenantly I really want a black female cat and to call her Tenshi (Which is Angel in Japanese) It goes nicely with Yoshi. Or if the cat is a little demon I could go with Akuma (Demon)

There are two that don't see eye to eye and hiss, one of them legged it up a tree but was okay. And then Lily who has adopted me whenever I am outside. Sounds like your enjoying your guest CB ![]() Quote:

I love those Japanese names for cats! If I had a little girl kitty that was fond of fish, should I call her Sushi?
![]() Glad the cats have sort of got on, be great if you adopt a black cat CB as they are often overlooked for some reason. Most folks want tabby, tortie or ginger, or white. Blacks and black and whites get left

Blacks and black and whites get left ![]() Awwwww I wouldn't mind a black cat although I do love tabbys because of my eldest sister. She had a grey/black stripy tabby (Scooby) who died at a young age Then she had a black and white (mostly black) cat (Chester) until he went missing and most likely had someone take him grr. Then her ex partner got her a ginger tom (Dexter) and his sister a ginger brown/white cat (Ruby) for her birthday before Chester went missing so they would have had three. They are so gorgeous!!!
