Had fish and chips in Southend today as a break from sticking in my flat. lovely weather. Walked along the front and went in one of the cafes along the arches.

There is nothing nicer than fish n chippies by the sea....I am lucky enough to live near to Whitstable and Herne Bay whre there are lovely chippies right by the sea, and Herne Bay has an old style promenade thing you can walk along.....and there's an ice cream parlour

I meant to tell you that I found this lovely wind chime the other day with Chinese emblems on it, well looked Chinese. I thought of Splintz for some reason so got it. I just need an appropriate plant now.

Awww. you know he loved wind chimes and dangly things, and also oriental things! I struggled to keep awake during the Bake Off last night and went to bed at 9pm Not having slept well for two weeks, I then kipped straight for ten hours!!
