It sounds it Good lol

Yes it does actually. I find I often help children put dress up on. But not in pre-school where they should be starting to dress themselves (I think?)
With support Crazy admittedly but some have no idea whilst others are spot on. Par for the course and they are lovely in the same breath

This film is good

Morning all
Twass hope they just need eye drops
The fact they both have runny eyes does suggest an infection rather then something more serious.

Arternoon all, vet thinks it is simple conjunctivitis and given drops for them both. They were both very good boys in the vets, Bragg did growl a little bit but Eddie was the best behaved doglet ever! They got treats after. Then they got in my car which fortunately I had put old towels down on the seats, and wiped as much of the bright yellow stuff the vet put in their eyes off rolling about rubbing their faces LOL It was even coming out their noses!!! But the good news is they should be fine in a couple of days.

I've been ill for the past couple of years, I'm finally getting the benefits that I've deserved since then.

In one nice back payment!

I heard about Throb, that is sad news

Ah! My friend got a backdated claim for just over a year, several grand!!!! So I understand how you can do it now Will you need to stash some of it for that USA trip, it's a fair way off!!

It does seem ludicrous how the benefits are left and left and left so that folk get more desperate [and sicker] before they actually receive what they need. So much stress is put on people already stressed by illness over benefits claims. They really didn't help Splint in his last months

The money helps, but it's really the people who have been there for me who are really helping. I am on the road to recovery, it's a long road, but I am officially getting better.

I spared a thought for Splintz when the train passed Finsbury Park yesterday.

And, before last night, the last time I spent a night in the capital.

I stayed in this great hotel, they served pizza and played the KLF!

I still smile about when Splintz went to that guy on the street corner in Camden who was selling his own music, and bought one. Was that CD any good?!

Phew glad it was something simple and hope their eyes (and noses ) are free of the infection soon

Oh get you mister, take me with you?!

About time too!!!!! I remember when my DLA was stopped at 16 (parents claim it til then) and it took them til August to sort out their bloody mess which meant I had a back payment of about £700-800. DREADING them taking me off it and trying to get PIP next year. Well that's when the next round of people start and I'm in it

Makes me so mad. A couple people who have committed suicide because of their benefits being witheld & the bedroom tax issues have made the news and lived a short drive away from me.

It was!! He played that a lot. He was a true gent, Splint....even if it had been crap, he'd have bought that CD and he was on benefits himself. He always bought a big issue as well.

Cor, a hotel serving pizza and playing KLF??? Where was it??

It's a disgrace and we are not a third world country, those who need support through no fault of their own should not be made to feel like scroungers or burdens and should be given enough to live a good, decent life, not just scrape by on the bare minimum to exist. Aneurin Bevan must be spinning in his grave Nor should they be stressed out by endless form filling and tests, their own GP should be able to say if they are in need or not, to be verified by one other medical practitioner only! And once assessed they should receive it THAT SAME MONTH with no questions asked! *and relax *

Hear Hear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nobody asks to be unwell, disabled, jobless or whatever the reason someone has claimed benefits. The joke is the biggest amount of welfare actually goes to the elderly and yet the government want to make anyone unwell look like some scrounger Not saying that the elderly are scroungers but nobody deserves victimisation for needing benefits. Well unless they're claiming unnecessarily of course We all need to live ffs.

And live to a decent standard, NOT be forced into food banks or feed your family poor quality food all the time. The elderly deserve all they get and more, and so do the disabled/sick in society no matter how they came to be disabled or sick.
