Evening CB, cats like privacy when they go to the loo and we know with the cats in our care at Cats Protection that the hooded sort of litter tray is very popular with most cats. Also, less mess in your home as the litter stays inside!

This one is £9.99

Ooooh thasnks
Is a carbon filter necessary though? I'm quite happy to change it regularly instead.
Going into town today so will look in petshops too

You don't need the filters if you change the litter often enough and give the whole thing a good clean on a regular basis. Those are for lazy peeps!

If you have a market with a pet stall you may well pick one up cheaply. However, we supply all our fosterers with everything they need for their fostered cat, litter, covered tray, bedding, food, vet fees - the lot. It all needs deep cleaning in between cats obviously.

Yay.
Looked around only pet stall just sold food and bedding. The fosters near me do provide everything but they are only a small rescue and always in need of funds. So I thought to help out more if I try and provide as much as I can that I can also use for my cat would help both out. I think I will get the one you mentioned. I don't mind getting dirty and smelly.

There is the cheap solution.....using an ordinary litter tray find a cardboard box of approx same size, and place it over the top, cutting several decent sized holes in the sides and top and leaving a large entry hole at one end. You can just replace the box if it gets dirty. The only thing that matters to the cat is a nice private little space to do their business in!!

To lazy to make something. Easier to just change the litter

I will be so sad if the yes vote wins for Scotland. It would be bittersweet. Only just felt what that big decision would mean.

Having a number of Scots friends who want Independence, I can only feel that what the majority wants is how it must be, and best not to think of how it will affect us here. It is their right after all. And who can blame them for wanting shot of Cameron

Hi Twass,

Yes I did see that but in no mood for sad things at the moment, may do a catch up on it. Been with my lovely Grandson earlier, he is a card

Same here CBF, I think I shouldn't be bothered but I am

It really is tragic Mrs T. The children are not much older than you and I, I think myself very lucky to have had a good life and a wonderful mother.

It seems the poll is very close, so it will be bittersweet whatever happens, in that nearly half of Scotland stands to be bitterly disappointed whichever way the vote goes.

It's terrible the things that happened in the past and in our sort of era.

I've just said as such on GD Twass, I hope that whichever side loses they do so gracefully...the polls depict a country divided, not united.
