I'm in a stranger than normal mood this morning feeling very sentimental and vulnerable and morbid for no good reason other than self realization that were are all in fact ****ED as a species. and "humanity's" greatest acheivement will infact be our demise hopefully being the seed for whats to come next .

had a bit of a debate with someone about this latest farce about self determination. And this may just be me trying to justify my apathy about not voting.
My thinking on this is if you join a system to fight the system from inside you become the system to force real change is to not give the system any kind of legitimacy withdraw from the process completely eventually "they the system" can't beat us up with the but more people voted for me to be a big **** than didn't .I wonder how many people actually agree with any decision a politician takes in "Your" name.

sorry peeps Ignore me im rambling ...

While I understand your feelings, which are the feelings of many, many of this country at the moment sonia, not voting is giving in, it is allowing them to win. Never give up hope no matter how hopeless it seems, while only the few will stand and fight this government, the corruption of banks, corporations, all hands in each other's pockets, it will never change and the ordinary person in the street will suffer and suffer more as years pass. I believe the revolution is coming. Be part of it, I certainly intend to be!! Uniting people is the hardest part of this, it is hard to know who to vote for any more.

Read the party manifesto's and it becomes clear there is really only one choice. And it aint Labour any more.

Afternoon all.

I've just got up. I'm getting old, can't keep up with the modern folk crowd any more.

The Hotpots are still awesome, Mrs T, hope you're ready from their Preston gig!

They are not doing them any favours Twass and I do applaud the majority of our parents who have great children and support us all the time. We just want them to be happy but like my mum always said 'A spoiled child is usually an unhappy child' Sorry for the rant

I'm like that at the moment Sons, you wonder which way we are all going and what is the best path. We can only support something that we believe to be the right way according all the information that we can glean. I do believe that we look far too often for the negatives and let's face it negatives are usually more news worthy!

It's not until December 6th. Need to arrange dates when I'm heading down yours before then.

The Hotpots are always excellent. There's a reason they've firmly placed themselves amongst my favourite bands.

We did but only to return my nephew's birthday present I did look at the handbags but didn't like anything. I went posh this time...my dressy top was form New Look (from their expensive range but got student discount) and debenhams Where they had money off both on my bag (30%) and my henry holland top (£8) I nearly got a small 4 wheely suitcase for £45 but Mum talked me out of it
