I know & I got verbal feedback on my dissertation poster. Think that mark might be a good 'un too.

Honey, if you PM me on here I could probably help you sort it all out? I'm very good with fixing people's issues
I've been so busy this week but I'm going to try to sort it tomorrow, I've just got this fixation after something that happened the other week. I will PM you if I feel that I've not got it right. My son sorted his out regarding the same issue but he's too busy to guide me which I understand. Thanks Crazy

I had a fab time with them Mrs T....we made a fabulous Easter bonnet with card and paper, glue and sellotape! Most of which is still all over my dress
I'm the PVA all over my clothes queen so I know what you mean. My hair was cancelled today and rescheduled for Saturday, I tell you Twass I get itchy head syndrome when I know it's time for my hair to be done. I'm paranoid

There were pictures used on a Russian site that included some children from the area close to school and one child in our class, innocent pictures but used in a foul way with 'comment's.' It just scared the hell out of me, I know that sounds stupid but it did, I hate anything like that when it involves children.

Just to add the child from out class was from a picture prior to her coming to us but still upsetting.

It is not stupid at all to be upset by it Mrs T, you have 3 children of your own, a grandchild and work alongside children as your career. Even if you had none of that, I wouldn't condemn you for being upset or concerned. To be honest nothing we post online is ever 100% our property once it's up and we should always remember that when posting. That's why I really really dislike people posting naked pictures of their children. There has even been pictures of kids having surgery that have been stolen and reposted on a page so they can get 'likes' on it. Sickening. Likes will do f**k all but people think it'll count as some prayer. Er no, if you're into praying, then go and actually pray to your God, not click like on a picture.

So I went off on a tangent there, so I don't blame you for being concerned about your security on Facebook.

My DIL said what you put Crazy (BIB) It just felt too close to home for me and I'm a monkey for wandering away from things that kind of worry me. Maybe I needed a rest from some things too

Anyhow all things aside it's nearly the end of the half term and gone far too quickly but a short half term

Oh okay. It's understandable. You know I'm the same too. You do need to relax

It has been so quick even though I've been working/studying during it

Going to send you a quick PM x

I really hope you get good news as per pm. Just watched a really good film but a bit disappointed with the ending End Game.

Got a responce need to send them my CV through email and see what happens. In other news I am stressed out. Got an interview with Capita and they gave me a postcode only I can't find where it is and If it is where I think it is it's a lot farther out then what I area I applied for and I'm not sure I want to go that far out. But it means ringing them back and ugg. I only applied to make the numbers for that the Job centre wants.

If anyone can work out where it is I would be grateful

I have the folllowing information to go on:

Postcode S57 (Can't find it)
Assessment Centre with Capita Customer Management, which will take place at our Capita Park office

Whelp Can't get the Grooming apprenticeship as they only get funding for people up to 24 years old. I'm ten years to old for it.

Also found the other place quite easily in the end. It was where I thought it was (which wasn't southend :P )
Did the interview but didn't get the job but for once I got some actual feedback from the interview and now know what areas I need to improve upon. (Namely I gave the right answers but they needed more details for them. Something I can fix quite easily. )
I did everything else right including the little group exercise where they said I did quite well in. Still 3 months and I can apply again with the extra knowledge.

And the job search continues

It's a blooming thankless task isn't it When I was on JSA after getting made redundant 5 years ago I was endlessly looking but no one wanted someone over 50. After a couple of months of sending off about 5 CVs a day and not one interview I got word via a friend that a local school was hiring people on flexible contracts to do exam invigilation and other stuff, I fitted the profile, and woohoo, I got it and worked there til I moved here and found the cat work. It was £10 an hour as well, so I was very lucky!!

Somewhere out there is the job for you CB. Had you ever considered being a self employed dog sitter/walker? It seems these days where folk work long hours, they will pay for someone to go in and let their dogs out for a wee, play with them a bit, etc. And there are other housebound folk who just want their dog given a little walkies now and then. It wouldnt pay much though You could offer to go and bath dogs in their own homes if their owner was not able to do it as well. Now that would be a nice little job

You fell into a good period there twass. I will hopefully get that break too.
I did consider self employment in that area but I'm not sure I'm self employed material and it's a big task instead of just working for someone else.

It's a very big task indeed to be self employed but it does often mean you get to do stuff you would actually LIKE to spend your time doing, rather than doing anything to earn a few quid.

Had you thought of working in a school CB? Mine was a secondary, some of the kids were a trifle challenging to say the least but I enjoyed it.

Hi Twass,

Sorry I was on The Brits last night, posted on the Brit thread but only after the 'disaster'

I'll be honest and say that I thought about Splintz when I learned of J's passing as about the same age and of course thought of you.x Time goes by so fast, tis just a blink of an eye.

I saw Marmite in some butter spread earlier

It's okay. I'll PM you tomorrow hopefully.

I'm so sorry
Sorry for my absence. On The Brits last night after a friend had visited. I tell you Crazy my life is like wall to wall at times and thank you, it just upset me as have known her for so many years x
