Depression sucks
You feel fine most of the day and then you feel like everything is pointless and want to cry

CB are you okay? Please don't be down but I understand that it's bloody hard too. Think of good things or wander into imaginary gardens in your thoughts.....yes pile of crap but would rather say something nice xx

I just posted something in GD as I know how bad depression really is and some things really rattle me and I was sarcastic I get moments when things sink to my toes and I drastically pull them back up, I know that sounds crackers but it's how I feel it. They are short lived thankfully

Morning all peeps! We may not hear from Splint for a bit, he got shipped off to Addenbrookes for more tests and his Ipad lead has broken. Not doing very well, but hey ho...

Hope you are feeling better this morning CB....I've lived with someone who suffered severe depression so know how it swings from OK to the depths of despair without a trigger as such, just very grateful to have never suffered it myself no matter how grim things get. I mean, we all get a bit low from time to time when life sucks, but I know the difference between that and true depression from having witnessed it first hand ..... very hard for anyone who suffers.

She dearly loved a glass of sherry Mrs T! I may have one tonight in her honour, since today her ashes are being delivered by my ex husband who lives near the crematorium, and as he is visiting our son in Canterbury he will bring them and also, all mum's things from the home.

I shall have a little ceremony to myself and scatter some ashes in my garden by the tree I planted for mum, there is a little altar I made with a jug of flowers always in it and a little candle.

Then I will wash all mum's clothes and give them to the charity shop as she would have wished

I think all of my Nan's clothes went to Age Concern As I said last year, a lot of people will have benefited from her death in a way and she would have wanted that. So yeah

Well, mum is home and it feels right for her to be here, it seems like closure....she is with me as she is meant to be

It was a tad weird to be handed her in a jar though I don't know what I was expecting but it was bigger and heavier than I'd thought.....

Looking like Splint will face another month in hospital while they try to sort him out....not sure if he will get his iPad lead sorted, he only has his phone.
