Had to order one of those "Pill Pushers" for my cat. He's on some very big pills right now due to toileting problems but it's hard to get him to take them. Yesterday he nearly pulled a whole heap of skin off as his claw caught my skin in such a way he almost pulled a chunk out
(like pinching your skin and pulling as far as it can go and then some)
well I am also being given a 13 further weeks trial to see if I can improve on my weaknesses at work. So yay. Might keep my job for good. Guaranteed 8 hours a week

Don't you wrap your cat before giving him meds? Firmly wrapped in a towel - yeah they don't like it but the claws are out of harm's way - you then have one hand free to shove the pill in and clamp their jaws shut til it's gone down. Better still have a second person to do the jaw clamping and stroke the throat gently which makes them swallow.

Bit of stability as well as the income, be good for your self esteem too, and I imagine improve your physical health What are your work colleagues like? Do you get on fine with them? Before the council did their purge the one reason I liked going to work there was the craic with all the other peeps. Open plan office....we'd chit chat all day long

He's normally good with pills it's just these ones are rather large. I'm going to just open them and put the powder in some kitten milk or in his wet food for him Instead.
Thanks. The stability is great but I would still need to sign on after Christmas as contract is 8 hours but that just means I can apply for any job over 8 hours.
I like all the people I work with. Everyone is really nice. Although the assistant manager can be a bit funny and the manager needs to keep things in control so is often in work mode. Sadly we can't chit chat all day though. Shop is far too busy to do it but we all get along and talk during the quiet times. But yeah everybody is easy to get along with.
