Nowt like pottering around a museum, specially if it's freee!

Just had quite a surprise when a lorryload of men and scaffolding arrived before 8.30am, seems the farmer wants the listed building ancient barn next to mine repaired.....but no one told me!! Had to scoot out half dressed [I was in the bath when they arrived!!] to move the car away from the barn
Now don't go taking any bits of old wood they take off it Twass, don't be tempted to stock up for the winter fuel as the English Heritage may not be too happy

Morning to all

Morning all, I do get what you are saying re wanting to hear your Nan say things again Crazy. It is now more than a week since the funeral and nearly three weeks since the passing, but I wish I could turn back the clock and go visiting with chocolates in one hand and wine gums in the other and Mum sat there like a little contented chicken waiting

Still, it was her time and I know it.
(((((Twass)))))) I know what you mean. Nearly every Saturday I wish I could walk round to her house (she lived close by) but I know it won't happen. But it really gets to me when I have something I'd really like to tell her.

Yeah and I'm sure she's having a blast up there

Morning all.

Time does seem to go faster when you get older. I still can't believe I'm 33 and both my parents are in their 60s. Doesn't seem over a decade since I graduated and no way does it seem 7 years since I joined NE1fm.

Got a friend coming round later, we're off to a local museum to look at history and shiznit.

I iz cultured, no!
Ah bless Eug, my Dad is 64 this year and my Mum will be 59. Still seems to shock people that lol. Wow time flies. I can't believe it's 8 years since I left school next month o.O

Have fun

Back.

Really enjoyed the museum. We've got a few other things planned as well.

Mate has been worried about me so is trying to get me out of the house as much as he can.

Yes I am but there's no guarantee I'll be shown on any of the brum auditions as obviously there was lots and we only saw something like 11 and they won't all be shown I'm sure

Eeeep. I never put clothes away/out, I just have them all in my wardrobe and draws for easy access. Getting new draws soon xD

Take it we are Loopy spotting tonight then?
If you want

Ah bless you Twass, I have a rather large wardrobe with 3 doors, 4 draws and then there's two chest of drawers that goes with it. However those two are getting replaced soon as the big chest of drawers is falling apart

So sorry it's BGT night and I've painted a wall today....well I did strip many others and did loads of prep so painting was a bit of a relief. My friend came today with her entourage of a partner and numerous children, she thought I would be in a box and was amazed at the size

Twass you would be proud of my bargain ceiling light and lamp I found a reduced section at B&Q
