Brazil don't to me at the moment look like winners but let's see eh. The Koreans are fast little buggers

I'm good, you?
I'm so worried - We finally find the perfect place we can legally get married and now we might not be able to afford it. I mean we don't need to get married to prove our love or anything but we DO need to get married before we can start the immigration process and that is gonna take 10-12 months from them receiving the first lot of forms I wonder if I could sell a kidney or use a crowd funding website like gofundme.Quote:

sod folk Lottie, live your own lifeSorry I'm a bit down and I'm stressed and worried. I woke up at 2:30am AGAIN and now I'll probably be awake until 7pm just like last night. So now I have lots of hours to worry and wonder what personal belongings I can sell. And that's my little rant over for now Lesson learned - Don't even THINK of relying on anyone else for anything.

Future Mrs in the US of A
It is possible the "family" are only looking to see how committed you are to this I know if any one of mine come along and gimme money for such and such i go NO get yer own but as soon as they actually put effort into it I always give them enough to do what they need and the stuff they got together is a bonus . we are weird like that us parents... ( we know stuff you gotta work for is all the sweeter when you get it) |

I always try not to rely on others as at the end of the day, as only I won't let myself down. That way when family and friends are amazing it's a nice surprise and when they aren't, it doesn't stress me out
![]() The best things in life are worth the wait, Loooots....and you and she will get there in the end, between you. Do you need to be married before you can apply for citizenship? You've discovered no one will gift you any of the money you need, but would anyone lend you £1,000 as a proper loan, with agreed repayments [I mean a family member not a loan shark!!!] as a goodwill gesture? Rather depends on your family circumstances and if anyone has that sort of money I guess. In the meantime buy a Lottery ticket every week, someone has to win ....longshot but it's only a quid! xxx |

I'm okay thanks, just stressed to bits. I somehow need to conjure up £450 so we can fly out of state and get married on my next visit to the US - which I already need to save £750 for just to actually GET to America

I hope you get it all sorted. I know how much of a pain this is money wise and getting all the paperwork done as we've discussed it. You know you have my ear to chew off in the meantime I wish I could do something more to help. The wait will be worth it I promise. My brother was meant to have been moving to Thailand at the end of 2012 but couldn't go due to breaking his hip and that massively delayed things as he wasn't even ready at the time anyway. But he's been over there for just over a month although he's on his way home today for a matter that needs to be dealt with.

Afternoon Miners
![]() Got home a short while ago after having to go college this morning. Not impressed. Someone was told we had to be there at 9.30 so me and my bestie were there BEFORE 9am and guess what? We didn't even meet the dammed moderator (who was very lovely) until gone 10.30. Plus most of our class didn't turn up which doesn't surprise me one bit. But still nice to see my bestie and two of my friends. Plus another person in our class Going to chill now, got the house to myself for a couple of days xD |

There is currently a wasp trapped inside the woodburner, and being trapped magnifies its buzz....at first I was like WTF is that a MONSTER in my house! Then I realised what it was. Not letting the little beast out as he's well p***ed off now and I don't fancy being stung!

I have just spent ages filling out more paperwork for an agency I'm joining officially on Monday. Stressing a little as had to reveal my mental health and I don't like it but didn't want to lie either like people do (and I don't blame them). I pretty much have the job so shouldn't need to worry. Just might ask me questions and/or request something from my GP. I don't even know how my GP is at the moment as mine left
Plus the reference section was SO hard as it had to cover the last 5 years and if it couldn't, the last one could be someone official like your doctor but HAD to know you for last 5 years. So I put one of the GP's who I've seen on/off since 2009 so yeah. Wonder what they ask someone's GP when it's for job reference The other two are my current voluntary placement thing and my personal tutor from college lol. I need to breathe and forget now lol, it'll be fine unless one says 'she's terrible'
