Sorry this was so late tonight, VM decided to start an server update at 00.30 and it's only just finished so I was practically dead in the water until 2.50 due to no internet access

Feel free to discuss the dying embers of tonights show as we move towards the double eviction tomorrow

As always no links in case Slice is watching

Kenny won the Veto and has taken himself off the block and someone else will be put on

But what they don't know is that it's a double eviction and someone else will be going out with the evictee tomorrow

Just got round to watching the episode...

Allison NOT using her Veto? Five minutes ago she was sat in the DR confused at Heather's plan to keep her - Heather couldn't possibly have had the numbers to keep her, she said. So, why didn't she use it? I would've been very confused if I was a casual viewer/didn't watch live feed.

Poor edit.

I don't tend to watch much 'live' stream as so much is censored so you can't see it live at important times anyway and have to wait for the HLS. But even without that even I know you can't trust what is said in the scripted DRs to create fake suspense.

Really hope Allison stays as she hasn't had much of a chance being a newcomer, if it's a double eviction I assume there will have to be another veto in between and she can use it then if need be.

It's not so much what was said in the DR, though, it was the way it was edited. Arlie revealed to Allison that he was with the other side. Then Heather went over everything with her, too. They could've shown a little bit of either of these conversations to let the viewers know why Allison didn't use the Veto.

Based on the episode alone, it came across as one of the most bizarre and dumbest moves you could possibly ever make (heck, it IS one of the dumbest moves to have a Veto and not use it when you're on the block, but at least via the live feed we can understand the decision). She had ZERO reason to not use the Veto except for having Heather's "word" (if you're only following the episodes).

I know episodes miss lots and lots of game talk out because they obviously can't fit everything into 45 minutes, but not using a Veto when you're on the block? It could've, and should've, been explained far better than it was.

In general though the DRs often are obviously scripted. They use Sarah a lot even though she is no more convincing reading a script than any others.

To get more in, including actually showing the important competitions live they could have an extra show, after all the first season was really popular. I'd take that over the after show program they have added.

I really hope this power is secret, though with them leaving one of the clues right in the open for everyone to see I really wonder. It's so much better more secret so it doesn't get nullified by the controlling power in the house. I said that with the Elissa twist at the time that I would have preferred it to be totally secret. I hope this can at least have some surprise value in comparison.

It would also be better if she didn't reveal it at a veto ceremony but it was just announced as an anonymous veto.
