Already, Naomi and Toadie are going down the road of how Karl and Sarah started out. They work together, are friends, confine in each other about their problems etc. As great as Karl and Sarah was, Naomi and Toadie aren't in the same league. For a start, I cared about Karl and Susan and so Karl cheating was a huge deal. I don't care if Toadie cheats on Sonya; I wouldn't blame him frankly! I really hope we don't just get a rehash of Karl/Sarah or a baby drama like Karl/Izzy. I would like them to do something different with Naomi and Toadie.

I do like the character of Naomi. I would like to see her with Paul I think. She'd be a great Mayoress! She could blackmail Paul over something maybe?

I'm enjoying Naomi but dont think its fair to be constantly comparing her to Izzy she is never going to be as good as Izzy but that doesnt mean she cant be interesting in her own right. Izzy was fabulous and the Karl/Susan/Izzy triangle is one of my all time favourite storylines. They will never be able to recapture that with Toadie/Sonya/Naomi.

I could totally see Paul and Naomi as Mayor and Mayoress of Erinsborough. Maybe she blackmails him and he has to marry her in a marriage of convenience or they pretend to be married. Paul's done it once before with Gail.
