Irish whisky is much more pleasant. Try Black Bush. Although I do like the Snow Grouse with lemon juice and a dash of soda water, but not everywhere sells it.

In the winter I enjoy http://www.auchentoshan.com/ 12 year old neat, it's far too smooth and subtle to mix with anything. I've tried their 18 year old but it's even smoother to the point of being bland
I also really like Johnnie Walker black label with a lot of ice. It's a blend with a more robust flavour that survives the ice and a bit of dilution to give a refreshing cold drink in the summer |
