Hey guys, I finally got my server connected on my desktop, after lots of meddling. But when I try and connect to the server on my iPad it shows the server but won't connect.

This is when I'm on 3G. It works on my home network...

On the server, right click on Plex icon in task bar to bring up display in the browser
Click on crossed screwdriver and spanner icon (Settings)
Check the myPlex option
Is it showing a green tick against "Server is mapped to to port 32400" ?

Have you opened the port 32400 on your router ?

How do I open the port please?

It will depend on exact make and model of your router.

suggest a Google of "xxxx yyyy open port"
where xxxx is make and yyyy is model number of your router
