I'd love to know what's said at these meetings. I'd assume now is when they evaluate what does and doesn't go down well on screen - presumably it's the first big storyline meeting since the Carters arrived, so now that they know the new family have gone down well in their introductory period I am sure they will go on to even bigger things!

And Cora coming into money would be good. I'm bored of her couch-surfing from Dot's to Max's to Patrick's. And like Janine, I think with money comes power and I always preferred Janine with money in the bank. I'd like to see Cora with more stability. Have they ever had a cab service seen on screen? Maybe she could run a cab firm?

Cora could work in the bookies, run a cab firm, there are lots of things she can do.

Cora could work in the bookies, run a cab firm, there are lots of things she can do - wasting a talent like Ann Mitchell is criminal and DTC should know better...

They're thinking of new and creative ways to repeat storylines. Can Sex obsessed Max sustain another secret **** buddy?, Will the viewers be able to handle Ronnie not liking Roxie's boyfriend... And of course, Sharon and Phil, a wedding that'll not make it to the alter.

I admire your dedication but I imagine Cora is one of the bullet points under Any Other Business, coming fourth after planning the EE Xmas Party, who's been nicking DTC's sandwiches and the London garibaldi shortage.

Cora could have a proper relationship with Lauren and Abi for starters...

I liked her working in the Charity shop, it suited her. She needs something to do besides getting drunk and spouting bile at Max (although I now agree that he deserves it).

And she and Patrick should have a real romance and get married. Maybe they could reopen the B & B and run it together?

I hope Kim never comes back, I can't stand her.

A SL with Max keeping his trousers zipped might be a bit controversial but could be interesting.....

Thats just giving her jobs to do, shr needs actual storylines. Maybe she could become addicted to online gambling.

Didn't Ann Mitchell play an ex of Roy Evans a long time ago?

I agree. I'd like to see Cora running something. Not too big as she's getting older but something like a cab firm or co running the B & B with Patrick. I don't think it's good to have Cora just drinking. Maybe her and Aunt Babe can come up with a money making scheme together.

For all you know Ann is on a limited appearance contract and therefore does not appear often.

You know nothing about circumstances to suggest she is being treated badly.

That could be true.

Ann Mitchell is a superb actress and the fact that she has not had a major storyline of her own is a disgrace.

Just look at how many bloody Peggy Mitchell had over the years and Ann is in a totally different league to Barbara Windsor.

What about a relationship with Stan? Timothy West is capable of making any script come alive and Ann would benefit from playing against such a wonderful actor.

Make it happen TPTB.

I hope the conference concludes with them deciding to give Johnny a boyfriend....

She has only been in 12 episodes this year. Same as Patrick. It's most likely the case that she just doesn't work as much.

Even more reason for them to make the episodes that they ARE in count for something...

How are they going to create a good storyline when the actor or actress is in less than 4 episodes a month?

They struggle with those in 4 episodes a week.

It would be challenging, I agree. I think they should be in more episodes myself and build strongers SLs around them. I'm a bit sick of the endless teenager SLs they are much less interesting to me (now that I am getting on a bit!!) and would love to see more focus on the older characters.

They could do it if Cora and Patrick were running the B&B, I think... have them interacting with the guests, as well as Cora having proper scenes with Lauren, Abi and Dexter. Patrick is a bit lost at the moment, he only has Denise, really. I would love his son Anthony to come back with his family so that Patrick would have them, too.

Or, the father of Cora's daughter Ava could pay a visit.....

The sun is shining but we're locking ourselves away for a few days for another Enders longterm conference. Watch out 2015.
