They should start writing better storylines for Alfie, get him to go to the job centre and claim job seeker's and look for a proper job either that or apply for a cabbie's licence now that Terry's going we need a new cabby.

Oh, and don'call the twins Bert and Ernie, let Kat have a girl and call her Victoria!

Only two gay men

This is a realistic number for an amount of gay people in street, square, road, etc

The square can function without a cabby.

Cora is a crap character, player by a dreadful actress. And this obsession people seem to have with soaps having a "matriarch" is very tiresome.

Maybe the number is realistic. What isn't realistic that the only two gay male characters on the square will inevitably end up with each other, especially when they're two such polar opposite personalities living in a city like London where there are so many opportunities to meet other gay men.

They could have Johnny start dating a guy that isn't living on the square, kind of like they're doing now but longer term. Then if he proves to be a decent character they could eventually have him and Johnny move in together.

But who am I kidding? They've probably decided on a whole story where Ben terrorises Johnny into a relationship.

Well Alfie does need a job and with Terry going he could become the resident cabby, he looked right at home in Terry's cab the other week, he's got the chat and it will make him money legitimately rather than stupid stuff like the ice cream!
