I like tomato sauce, pasta sauce, pizza sauce etc, but I cant stand tomatoes on their own.
I'll consume a banana mixed in a smoothie or baked in a desert but I don't think I've ever peeled and eaten a raw one. The smell just puts me off. It's a shame as I know that fresh bananas are cheap, healthy and come in their own convenient packaging. |

I really like mushy peas but don't like garden peas. I quite often have mushy peas with my roast dinner.

Similar with peas.
I can eat mushy peas but I have to be in the mood and prefer garden peas. Marrow fat peas are almost always reserved for roast dinners. Sometimes they might go into a stew. I prefer garden peas over all. |

This probably isn't the same thing, but I love bananas and can't bear anything banana flavoured.
I'm with the raw / cooked veg folk though - can eat any veg at all cooked or in soup etc., but raw carrots / celery / tomatoes (fruit, whatever) I can't eat! |

Love pineapple on its own but hate it on pizza and in meals.
Love both raw and cooked tomato. Cannot stand tomato Ketchup though! Also hate coconut and chocolate together. Both separately are fine, together they are ruined. |

Peas - Love fresh in the pod just of the "plant thing" raw or cooked. Mushy peas get the thumbs up, the dried marrowfat ones you have to soak before you cook are great and processed peas are good too. When it comes to garden peas tinned or frozen - YEUK!

i miss dark ones so much
they seem to be milk chocolate these daysEspresso: Fairtrade coffee in a fresh dark chocolate ganache topped with a chocolate coffee bean. A big favourite with a lot of our customers and a Gold Great Taste Award winner of 2006. I used to buy all my gift chocolates from Hotel Chocolat, but from being a small friendly company they have now grown into a massive corporate enterprise and I ditched them last year in favour of Chococo. My recipients say that Chococo's chocs are much nicer. I 'phoned them to check the chocolate does indeed have a dark choc shell (they call it a 'dome') and it does. Note prices include p&p and I don't work for them, it's just a recommendation from me to you. http://www.chococo.co.uk/products/detail.php?prodid=482 On topic conversely I love marzipan, especially Niederegger, but not almonds. |

Love icing, like marzipan, love fruitcakes....HATE fruitcakes topped with marzipan and icing.
It think it's just too much. I was bought up eating butter and/or cheese on fruitcake, so the combo of icing and marzipan on a cake is too sickly sweet. Fruitcake needs a slightly salty or savory topping. Love oranges and fresh orange juice, love chocolate - absolutely detest 'chocolate orange' whether it's Terry's or just a chocolate with and orange centre. Makes me sick, hate hate hate!! |
