Lana Del Rey and Haim for me. I like Vampire Weekend and The XX quite a bit atm too but they're both from the tail end of the 00's. Lorde is pretty good too.

That's a really good list.
I just wonder how many of these artists could get a bigger audience?
I'm a My bloody Valentine fan so I like the name of The Bilinda Butchers if nothing else!

Forgot about him for my list. I enjoyed his first album but I've not listened to it for a while. Does he have new stuff on the way?

Honorary mention for Becky Hill! The 2 songs she's featured on so far have been superb and her voice is incredible. So excited for her upcoming Debut album!

Frank Ocean
Drake (his mixtape came out in 09, but his debut album was released in 2010)
Katy B
Disclosure
Miguel
Kendrick Lamar
Ariana Grande

Even though they have both been around since the early 2000's I would include Solange and JoJo as they are completely different artists today and it feels like they are really only launching themselves now.

No she isn't. Her debut and three singles were released in 2009, but more were released in 2010. She is a 09 artist as her album was released that year. Not a 2010 artist.

I'm not going with favourites but here is my two pennies on who has come out last few years and will have made the most impact on the music scene by the end of the decade.

Jake Bugg has to be on there even if only because the music industry seems to view him as the second coming. I know Ed Sheeran has been mentioned above. Mumford & Sons broke out in 2010 I think. Although they are taking a break so whether they will have any impression on the music industry for the rest of this decade is in question. They brought the folk sound to the mainstream. Adele's first album was out in the 00s but she broke through to mainstream massive success in 2010-2011.

Naughty Boy, Disclosure, Calvin Harris and Rudimental for producing other acts and therefore impacting on the sound in the charts. I think Naughty Boy (deservedly) will have a big impact on what we listen to this decade as his album had many several styles on it. Unfortunately I have to add will.i.am to the producer list.

Little Mix for the R&B / dance combination and harmonies. One Direction for pop-culture impact, although besides What Makes You Beautiful and Story Of My Life they haven't had breakout / radio hits. They're aiming their future music at more mature audiences (and men - good luck with that!) so they may have more radio hits and gain a foothold as a music act. If any boyband is going to impact beyond a 3 year push it'll be them.

Best:

AlunaGeorge *

CHVRCHES

Disclosure *

Grimes *

HAIM

Janelle Monâe

Jessie Ware *

Katy B *

Kelela

Lorde *

Miguel

Purity Ring

Rustie *

SBTRKT *

Zedd *

The ones with little stars beside them indicate artists that I believe people will cite when people start retrospectively discussing and characterising this decade.

The OP says that the artist's debut album must have been released from 2010 onwards.

The ArchAndroid, Janelle Monâe's "debut studio album" , was released in 2010.

I hope Charli XCX has a successful pop-career whilst maintaining the consistency in quality she has more or less had up until now.

SuperLove and Boom Clap are fantastic, I hope the latter winds up on her new album.
