So many things..but off the top of my head. Too many adverts, the rising volume during ad breaks.
Ridiculously massive pauses when announcing the results of anything, but my real pet hate is those shows that look back on decades, be it about fashion, music, tv - anything, the "celebs" that get wheeled out every time to make comments, all they do is sit there and state the flippin' obvious and burst out laughing as if they've said the wittiest, most original thing in the world! Aggh..hate it!
Consumer shows when they illustrate the problem/solution with puerile sketches. Eg ..Mrs Briggs of Brigton isleft with leaking roof thanks to cowboy builder..cue presenters sitting in front room with umbrellas up and mouths turned down, a phone call is made and along comes another presenter wearing a stetson and has a pantomine horse in tow...REALLY?!
People appearing on quiz shows who have little or no general knowledge....History - that's not my best subject...Geography...Not my best subject...Literature...Not my best subject...Well what is your best subject? ...Got any questions on reality tv or shopping?
