Just joined Netflix....just one question

How do you find out what the audio can be used...ie stereo or DD5.1?

It gives the audio description in the description for the actual thing you want to watch. Not sure how you make the device your using switch to that, as the above poster said it depends what device your using. On apple tv it auto detects.

I've got my CC plugged in my Yamaha AV amp and watching with Samsung tv.

Ok, sorted, when the film has been cast there's 3 icons on android screen, one is a choice between DD and stereo,
Amp has to have DD+.

Heads up too, for the last few weeks Apple TV hasn't been broadcasting NF in 5.1, the latest update has sorted it out.

Glad to hear it's working for you, it's not on mine.

Apple TV Software 6.1.1 (6698.99.19)

All settings are configured correctly, and watching Bates Motel which is in Dolby Digital on the Roku 3 but not the ATV.
