They could but according to Brian Johnson the pact they have made about not carrying on playing live if one of them in unable to would suggest that wouldn't happen this time.

I've also seen them with Simon Wright and Chris Slade on drums.

I'm referring to the on stage action. You focus on Brian and Angus.”

However without Malcolm, Cliff, and Phil there wouldn't be a Brian or Angus to watch, they are very much an integral part of the band.

And if you look at their popularity it noticeably dips between the time Phil left in 1983 and returned in 1994.

I didn't realise they were still going. One of the few bands that made Status Quo seem poitively adventurous.

30-odd years playing nothing but rhythm guitar is pretty uncanny. I can't think of another band with the same setup.

I don't think Keef has been 'strictly rhythm' though - he's described his partnership with Ronnie Wood as 'the art of weaving'.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. They've obviously being doing something right all these years, not forgetting they have the best selling album by a group of all time.

ACDC have never claimed to be anything but a no nonsense, balls to the wall rock n roll band.

They are not going into the studio until may so it might be a little wait.

So it's not true then? Good.

Just how bloody good is this?

Bon Scott was one cool bloke. Reminds me of my late old man.

Love the girl offering him a fag in the vid while he is playing the bagpipes at 4:22!
