I don't agree with Mark Heyes though. I like him, he should stay

Tellingly the new programme is not getting much coverage in the papers although The Sun TV mag is going big on it on Saturday. I suspect the press are as fed up with the constant re-launches as the viewers...Every revamp manages to reduce the audience.

I think you'll find that the marketing department is doing a sterling job, which can be verified by all the people who are currently sat on a sofa which they believe is worth £3,999 despite the fact that they paid only £999 in our double double discount sale, using our 4 years interest free credit option. Somehow we still manage to make a handsome profit and remain in business. Go figure!

You'll also find that our adverts regularly make the top ten!

ITV have yet to realise they have missed a trick.

Whilst reverting to 1982 and TV-am, they should note that TV-am was not successful and somewhat a 'sinking ship' until they employed the services of Roland Rat.

If anyone from ITV Breakfast is reading this, I have spoken to Roland's agent and he is available to cover for Lorraine during the school holidays.

Ms Reid makes the front of a number of tabloids this morning, on the back of a Radio Times interview.

Nick Owen makes the very valid point in The Sun today that viewers don't like to be told about presenters earning £1 million a year who spend their lives going to film premieres and parties. The Sun then goes on to lift a long article from the Radio Times about ITV breakfast presenters who earn £1 million a year and spend their time dining and wining with fellow presenters...

Lorraine will be back presenting her own show Monday to Friday next week though .

With the cast listed below, no mention of Kate Garraway, and with Helen presenting this morning, have we seen the last of Garraway?

Not really seeing what there is about this rather bland looking line up that is going to make much difference.

What I've seen of Suzanna Reid hasn't convinced me that she is anywhere near worth paying £1 million a year for( not sure anyone is for that matter)........they're just replacing one set of colourless autocue readers with another.

Nick Owen is right when he says that viewers are ailienated by big money signings that TV executives assume viewers will like.

To be fair, the names you have mentioned are not pseudo Journalist 6am auto-cue readers, but light entertainment prime time presenters (as much as I cannot abide any of them)

In my opinion no Newsreader is worth more than £150,000 a year,
when you compare that to what a Nurse, Policeman, Teacher or Fire Fighter earns it is frankly disgusting
not too mention all the corporate gigs newsreaders and presenters do on the side at anything from £5k - £50k a gig
Just go on companies house and check how many are incorporated for "tax purposes" - greedy shower of shite the lot of them!

I read this and agree with this all the talk of large cheque book salaries outs viewers off.

Bleakley with her perma tan and big salary made viewers switch off, ITV must learn they do not solve their problems by throwing a cheque at a BBC presenter.

There was a nice photo in the metro of the four presenters, however Suzzanah to the front, but Suzzanah on the front cover of RT will backfire, it's a team, not a one person show. How to annoy the public, well your going the right way ITV and it's not started yet.
