I think itv's way of playing it safe is keeping on a few of the regulars, however the likes of Ross king are the very reason i cant bare to watch.

What do others think?

Throws hat into the ring.......I like Richard Arnold. I cannot tell a lie.
I always wonder what Richard has got on the bosses. He's had more lives than my cat.

Is he the leathery faced man who pretends to be in L.A when he is obviously filming in a broom cupboard from the other side of the Studio with a green screen of the Hollywood sign?
Comes across as a bit of a **** imo.
I am sure he got his cock out on the show (by accident of course)
He was talking to Lorraine from his broom cupboard and stood up to show of his Kilt, Lorraine said something about what have you got on under your Kilt and he then proceeded to jump around and I am sure he flashed his cock

He was replaced by Kate Garraway for the first 2 years of Daybreak, she has had even more lives than Richard! Reporters aside, she is the sole surviving member of the main GMTV team and is the only member of the original main Daybreak team to survive all three incarnations! There is probably a case for John too, to a lesser extent, but he did vanish for quite a while.

Just seems odd that the bosses see Kate, Richard etc as a safe bet when surely theyre the main reasons many dont watch?

In what seems to be a somewhat belated damage limitation exercise ITV sources tell The Sun Susanna Reid is being paid ''only'' £400,000 a year not the reputed million previously leaked by ITV.They also reveal she was paid just over £200,000 at the BBC. Should go down well with the single parents on council estates.....

Read elsewhere that Lovely Laura will be on Good Morning Britain

Nice to see her this morning, I assumed she had the week off.

"We'll be back after this short break"

"And now, competition time"

Get used to hearing these two sentences.

LOL yesterday Helen was presenting with Aled and Ranvir was doing the news. Today Ranvir is presenting with Aled and Helen is doing the news? Are they taking turns in each others roles before it finishes for good on Friday? And where's Lorraine?

Strange this morning, Ranvir did 6 - 8.30, instead of just the 6 - 7 slot.

Is this indicative of how GMB will be? Maybe the "ego" Miss Reid wants to be centre of attention and present all the show?
She is scared of the younger, more attractive blonde bombshell Charlotte

School holidays so presumably Lorraine is baby-sitting her daughter who is now at university and doesn't even live at home...

So as a freelancer she has a contract for working a four day week, not unusual.

As a freelancer she is unlikely to get paid holidays, she will be paid for what hours she works as in the terms of her contract.

What about all the pop singers who only perform every few weeks (or even less), and lots of actresses work less hours either by choice or lack of work.

And the £200k will go down well? I expect Susanna is being paid £1m over 2 or 3 years in the same way that Adrian & Christine had big deals but split over a number of years. The press just latch on to the number.

Perhaps her agreed contract is that of a part-timer, and that she is contracted to work four days (similar to many other people across many business areas).

Calm down! My post was implied as a joke, hence the important use of a emoticon
Jeez there are some touchy people on DS - LOL (is that obvious enough for you?)

I wouldn't mind if they brought Anne and Nick back. ITV breakfast telly hasn't been worth watching since their day.

The name changes but it's just the same presenters rehashed- same ole same ole
