Ah, the myth about Reid's legs. They're getting a bit fat. Since they plonked her behind a desk she's lost her USP - flirting with blokes young enough to be her sons and recreating the Kenny Everett '...and all my clothes fell off!' sketch.

I don't get the thing about a middle-aged presenter flashing her knickers, there are much better looking and younger presenters who can do the job a lot better.

I've really tried to give it a chance but it's such a bloody mess.

Susannah Reid is just awful. Amateurish, awkward and incapable of keeping up with the auto-cue.

The Sporty spare part on the end just looks like he doesn't know why he's there. I don't know either.

I quite Charlotte but she seems lost in the mix.

Poor Ben just looks bemused as if he's wondering why the hell he signed up for this fiasco. What's with those stilted links to the local news?

It was nice to see Kate back. Her personality shone through the muddle.

Why we need Laura hanging around like a bad smell and previewing the weather is a mystery. Just do the bloody weather girl and burger off for a coffee until you're needed.

And that brings me to the numpty and his cheap cash wheel. Who in their right mind thought that watching some random winning 50 quid and an ITV goodie bag was going to tempt us away from our smartphones and tablets in the morning?

I'd shut the whole thing down and show reruns of Mork & Mindy and Charlie's Angels.

I'm not Kate's biggest fan but I feel she really brightened this mornings programme up. Her and Ben have that thing they're so interested in, 'chemistry', and Susanna wasn't afraid to join in either. Susanna and Kate are very similar. I wouldn't be surprised to see much more of Kate & Ben in the near future, especially over the summer. Todays programme did expose Sean though, he was just sat on the end like a spare part. It'll be interesting to see how Charlotte & Ranvir get on tomorrow. I have a feeling it will be a car crash.

I thought Kate was excellent this morning and I feel she suits this format really well, having a great balance between serious news and having a bit of fun!

Ben also seemed more 'at ease' with everything alongside her. I'd certainly like to see more of her in the presenting line up.

It was nice to see John Stapleton the other day, and as much as I think he's a great accomplished presenter, he kind of stuck out a bit like a sore thumb. It will be interesting to see how Ranvir fits in tomorrow....

First time I saw this programme I thought I'd messed up the settings on my TV, their faces took up most of the screen, then I realised they were trying to be all American TV. But it doesn't really work does it.

Never rated them, Louise Munchkin's legs are more appealing

Spot on, that is exactly what it is.
Ben 'The Drip' Shephard's moronic pre-recorded local news intros make my skin crawl

I'm actually quite enjoying it this morning . It is a breath of fresh air to have Ranvir there again. Much improved and far more professional than what we have with Susanna.

Just checked it out again this morning and it's like a different show without Susanna, much better, everyone seems much more relaxed. Another plus is that they seem to have dropped the frankly disconcerting extreme closeups of people's heads!

EDIT: Still got Andy Peters though...

Bring her back fulltime!

By the sound of it, it is lowly morphing back to Daybreak then, at least going by today.

Great to have Ranvir back again. She is great on a professional level, but it was an added bonus to see her sexing it up in a short dress showing her lovely legs. Its obviously the "Susanna Reid" effect and she's upping her game.

Wonder how Susannah feels with Charlotte comfortably sitting in her seat.

Ranvir is so much better. It's nice to see her getting the recognition she deserves after leaving our local news. Susanna was all smoke and mirrors, completely over-hyped.

I'm guessing Andi Peters has something on someone at the top for him to still be there. The guy is absolutely pointless and leaves me cold.

They need to give Ranvir the job full time.

Totally agree.
I always liked her on Daybreak. She made such a difference to the show. Still behind that bloody desk though

It worked really well this morning but I did expect it to be a car crash. The Thursday and Friday combinations are much better than the 'main 4'. It would be good to see them use the two 'teams' more often but they do need to identify and establish the lead presenters (Ben and Susanna/Charlotte) before it becomes too inconsistent. Even down to when Ben is off, rather than put John in for him, they need to move Charlotte across to lead the programme.

Love Kate, John, Ben & Ranvir. Not too sure about Charlotte, she reminds me of Emma Crosby. Less said about Susannah Reid the better.

Sean Fletcher is just the sport presenter. He looks lost when they give him anything else....and they don't give him much else which is a real problem. It's basically three presenters and then him.

They should have kept Ranvir Singh & Matt Barbet then put them with Charlotte and one other to host.

Reid is a weak link and Ben Shepherd lacks gravitas.
