Capaldi also likes to "sidestep the marketing opportunities" when it comes to getting a new sonic or keeping the current one.
This is all coming out of a Mark Gatiss event. |

Capaldi has said he doesn't want to regenerate too soon and would have his Doctor meet Martin Luther King

Referring to the circular motif so prevalent in TARDIS interior looks, he announced, ‘Roundels. I like the old Sixties roundels. That was the coolest look and I think it’s also appropriate for the way this Doctor dresses.’
Heh, heh, heh...

Capaldi going live in 10 minutes on LBC
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EF9OuSYTkuc He won't say how long he'll stay - and might not be up to him - but he loves doing it. Wouldn't want to outstay his welcome. It's his favourite part. |

Such a wonderful portrait. It's really poignant and illustrates the real loneliness of the long lived time-and-space-traveller.....
On a more shallow note, Capaldi looks rather fetching...the vulnerable, thoughtful, lonely look suits .... ![]()

Karaoke and Mime
It's a good sign that I'm enjoying my box set release - after Seires 6 & 7 are on a shelf, barely touched. Series 8 was a lot of fun, and much of that was down to how much I enjoy Peter C. |

My grand daughter is nearly 9 years old and loves Dr Who.When David Tennant was the Dr I sent to his agent a Christmas card she had signed for him and I enclosed another card asking if he could sign it for her. I put the postage on so it wouldnt have cost him anything. Anyway it arrived in time for Christmas and her face was priceless.
So when Matt took over I did the same and his arrived in Feb but I told her hes been really busy and she was pleased. This year I sent the same to Peters agent. She wrote him a Christmas card and hes sent the blank one back fully signed with a signed picture and a drawing of a darlek . It came last week so its been put away for Christmas. David and Matts were just like a normal signing...but Peters is totally different . Cant wait to see her face Christmas morning.

I strolled past the next man just yesterday. In Soho. There's not much else to say. This anecdote needs some work...

Look, I'd love to play the Doctor forever, but it is not really up to me,” he says matter-of-factly. “I'm just having a wonderful time while I'm getting the honor to play him. I could not have planned or hoped for anything more special.”

Capaldi: I would not have been being true to myself if I had turned away from it Quote:
Finally, the Oscar winner was asked how he would like his time and his Doctor to be remembered, answering: ‘I would like it to be mysterious and magical and fun. That’s just what Doctor Who is, a mysterious piece of magic in the world.’

Peter's mother has sadly passed away. Thoughts to him.
( The Sun apparently saw fit to publish snaps from the funeral. Terrible. ) |

As you say thoughts to him in a very difficult time.
(I should be surprised by the Sun's lack of regard but the sad thing is I'm not surprised they would do something so low, which says a lot about that newspaper and others like it) |
