What sad news about Peter's mother. My deepest sympathies to him and his family.

Peter was filming at the studios today - before popping over to the DW Experience to surprise groups of school children on school trips.
What a guy. |

Is this the Missy unappreciation thread? I've been tricked before now!
Peter Capaldi is still an awesome Doctor... and an awesome man. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhU9u4vxk1Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgsBbVbpi4g |

Watched 'Mummy...' on iplayer this morning for the first time in months. Genuinely think it's a classic and it is probably my favourite Peter C performance to date. That scene towards the end on the beach with the Doctor and Clara gave me goosebumps.

I'm so happy we're going to get another series of Peter's Doctor and Clara together. |

“Courage isn’t a matter of not being frightened, you know. It’s being afraid and doing what you have to do anyway.” At least no one had a go at you. Thats a win for the good guys. |

Me too! It's one of my favourite bits of Who. I've watched those last few mins countless times, and I'm not really one for re-watching New Who. I agree about it being a classic. It's 'proper' Doctor Who.

His reaction to when a kid asked about Susan was amazing, Tears in his eyes.

Rewatching the series and there are so many little things I didn't pick up on from 12 the first time around.
His demonstration of Dalek biology, for example

Oh, the tedium and drudgery of this promotion lark, eh Peter? Fake smile is obvious.
