The plan ALL WEEK was to back door Allison.
Allison saved herself with her drunken meltdown, and unknowingly set the wheels in motion to back door Arlie.

I understand why they're going for the Neda vs. Arlie with Jon in the middle edit, and that's ultimately what it was/is, but they could at least show the steps to how it all came about because it wasn't just Neda wanting him out that swayed Jon.

The edit just makes them all look so stupid and leaves viewers (or me, at least) asking lots of questions.

Love Allison undermining Neda, "who is this Allison" lol. Maybe she could have taken Arlie off, but I'm glad she got to make a game move rather than just keeping quiet. Sabrina will probably be loyal, and I guess nobody trusts Arlie. Hopefully the Jon/Neda dominance can get undermined by someone soon to make it more interesting.

Adel made a stupid move replacing Allison for the veto. The others outside the first five alliance always bracketed Allison with that group even though she was never really truly a part of it. So that means Allison ends up having to go with what's left of that or hope the other side of the house can finally split.

How did Allison 'save herself with the drunken meltdown'? I didn't see it, but she could have used her veto anyway. It would have been better TV really saving herself and she obviously (and most likely rightly) never trusts the sloppy seconds, they are just too controlled by Jon/Neda.

If I understood correctly, Arlie told her she was being backdoored in order to win her jury vote, and Alison broke down and told Neda and Heather how she knows shes going home and so then the next morning (which was in the show, by the hot tub), they approached Alison and told her that now the backdoor replacement would be Arlie and not her.

Ah ok I guess Arlie didn't exactly give her any hope of staying then, just put too much trust in his own alliance. Better to work with people to stay in the house than for jury votes, that has too much of an assumption that you will get to the end. Adel pretty much helped burn his own bridges with Allison too, so it's kind of appropriate he went on the block.

Who exactly came up with the idea of backdooring Allison?

I meant Allison saved herself from the block, and in doing so, ensured the Gremlins survived, too. She was the target all week and the meltdown saved her and shifted the target onto Arlie.

Allison was in the HoH bathroom with Arlie and Jon. She was crying and not saying what she wanted to say i.e. talking in code. The boys didn't understand and Jon ended up walking away. Arlie didn't say much to her from what I remember...

Allison left shortly after Jon and went to the main bedroom and started throwing all her clothes around, going on a huge rant about how she's not made for the game. Heather and Neda enter the room and ask her what's the matter. She starts talking in code again, telling them they can't trust Arlie and Jon and that she knows she's going home whilst full on sobbing. When Heather and Neda asked her what they said, she wouldn't tell them (because they didn't say anything), and instead told the girls she wants them to get to final two and they need to watch out for the boys. Heather and Neda cried. However, when she mentioned going home, she was talking about NEXT week - she had no idea she was being back doored this week.

Neda was already looking for any excuse to put Arlie's arse on the block, so this did it.

If they had followed through with the original plan, Allison would have used the Veto on herself, leaving Sabrina on the block next to a pawn. They would've had the numbers to get rid of Sabrina... but the move that's been made has ensured all three girls are safe, and now they have the power to keep Arlie and go after Heather, Jon and Neda with Arlie. It's a disastrous HoH for Jon if Adel ends up going home.

The above makes Allison sound like some sort of genius, but she really was drunk and none of it was game play at all - she stumbled into it (literally) and she's admitted it herself.

The Sloppy Seconds have always used Allison for another number in the game - she's never truly been part of their alliance.
They wanted to get rid of her during Heather's HoH if Kenny won Veto. Heather didn't want that though, so persuaded them all to keep her around and get rid of Sarah instead.

I just wondered if a specific person was behind it as I know it has come up in conversation, Arlie and Adel both being accused.

Allison did well not to use her veto when she was up on the block before so I suppose that enabled this move to happen. Gunning for someone and then switching to someone else, both of whom were at least nominally part of your own alliance, is not the best gameplay. In that sense they shot themselves in the foot. The only one I would feel sorry for to an extent would be Heather who is the most likeable of them. If Arlie stays a Heather/Allison final 2 still isn't impossible. Arlie may have to win competitions towards the end to avoid eviction and the Sabrina/Rachelle alliance will probably have to be countered.
