Great news! You probably are one of the first lol. Who did you order with?

Be great to hear some thoughts and first impressions on the phone or if there's any issues.

Is your sim activated? or is it saying no sim card detected?

Does the phone detect the sim?
Does it say no sim installed?
Does it say no service?

Nice to see Sony continuing their tradition of bundling earphones/headsets actually worth keeping with their devices.

Says no service which is concerning as mrs also has EE for her work phone and gets signal.

???

Edit. Yep just switched her iPhone 5 on and she has 2 bar LTE but switch that off and it's 4-5 bar 3g

If I click on EE app when connected via wifi it says Sim not detected

Put number in EE activate sim and says number isn't a valid EE number

Try swapping sim cards around and see if yours works in your other half's phone and vice versa.

If your sim doesn't work in your other half's phone then it sounds like it's not active on the network.

I think the EE app works the best when using 3G/4G and is your sim working in the iPhone 5?

Looks like I managed to get a phone without having a number attached to my account. Will take 1-3 days.

Not quite sure how this happened and not sure whether they are just sending me a new sim or not. Good job I still have my three phone working.

So far really liking the phone. Lighter than I thought it'D be.Just trying to figure out how to switch off vibrate when typing

I know - was thinking of signing up for a year SIM only deal with Three and keeping my S3 for another year, but then I thought F it as always doing lots of overtime and call out and I am constantly using my phone so it does pay for itself so went for the S5.

I was reading on another forum that pre orders have been sent back to the warehouse by Vodafone at Sony's request. Also on the day you were getting texts on dispatch [Thurs] I phoned EE who told me they had no idea as to when the Z2 would be released so I then went into store and received confirmation again that nobody had any idea as to its release date and therefore cancelled my pre order with EE and bought the M8 with 02. This all seems very strange and poor. As well as that nobody at EE seemed to care. If this had been an Iphone I suspect attitudes would have been different.

So those who now have the Z2, any chance of a review of the phone? Lets hear your thoughts! Is it worth getting? What's the screen/camera like? Pros/cons, etc?

Also how are you all managing with the size? A few reviews conclude its too large.

Camera is very good. Haven't taken many photos and what I have are just baby photos so will give more information on that when I've taken more.

The phone is great and so quick. Haven't noticed any slow down at all and the internet is very quick over wifi compared to me 4s. (4mb speed broadband) pages load very quickly.

The screen is fantastic. Very crisp and perfect for watching films. Really can get immersed especially with the noise cancelling ear phones. Great sound quality too.

In terms of size I was a little apprehensive about it. But after a day I'm already converted and look at my 4s as too small. It's comfortable in my hands but I do have big hands.

In terms of call quality I can't say because my account isn't active.

For those use to android I do have a couple of questions.

Is there a safe, cheaper alternative to the play store for tv and films because it's quite expensive?
