Hello race fans. With the new season just under a week away it's time to welcome back those early Sunday morning starts as teams get ready for the first fly away races of the season. Pre-season testing is done and the reigning champions look to be in a spot of bother! Can the strongly fancied works Mercedes team step into the breach or will a revival from Williams see them standing on the top spot of the podium by this time next week.
An overhaul of the rules this season as we go back to the previous format of predicting the top three finishes with the addition of a joker that can be played at any round of the season to double a players points tally for the weekend.
Here is the full run down:
For each race weekend on the calander, 19 at present, you should post predictions for the following before the start of qualifying:
The driver who qualifies on pole (5pts)
The drivers finishing 1st/2nd/3rd in any order. Points will be awarded based on where your driver(s) finish. 25pts for first, 18pts for second, 15pts for third.
Race results taken from www.formula1.com. The chairmans decision is final.
Joker: Each participant is entitled to play one joker during the season, this must be nominated at the time of posting their predictions. Any points scored during this round will be doubled.

Predictions for Australia will need to be in by 06:00 Saturday 15th March 2014.
