Maxes were a bit thin on the ground what with Barney towelling Gando 7-2, Taylor getting brushed and Jackpot only dropping one leg.

However, Dean M, Runaway Groom, Ned, JBO, Dave the cue, Fatsi and Xavier netted a max (4 points) from Snakebite defeating Wes 7-3 making it the most profitable result of the night, whilst Daz C went one better maxing this and Chizzy’s 7-5 win over Choccy.

Call of the night was Neil Watson being the only player to back Barney to win 7-2, a max which scores 5 points due to the extent of the victory. Neil also maxed Chisnall’s 7-5 win as did Hayden & Cheeks.

Darren, Hayden, Dean, Degsy, Neil, Fatsi and Matt all did well to get 4/5 results right, but usurping this was Runaway Groom who eloped with all five correct winners to take an early lead in the competition. Well played Sir
